speaking of the AHL, I'd love to see a video on the top ten AHL players of all time. As a hockey player, I have huge respect for how good those guys are.

I think my most unpopular jersey opinion is that those 07 word mark jerseys are awesome. I wish they would reuse that jersey pattern with the current colors and old mighty ducks logo!

The orange & blue Gulls jersey may be a throwback to the WHA team, the San Diego Mariners. They had those same colors and a wordmark jersey, though not exactly this design. The Ducks wordmark black & urine gold jerseys are the worst looking jerseys of any Stanley Cup team in history. Beer league teams have better looks than that. To tell the truth, I don't like any of their jerseys. They've never had a good one. But that's just my opinion.
The wordmark Gulls jersey is probably a throwback to the San Diego Gulls of the Western Hockey League of the mid to late 60's.
As a really young kid, I saw Willie O'Ree when he played for the Gulls.
I always think of Paul Kariya whenever I see the original jersey. There were some sensational years with Kariya & Teemu Selänne making highlight-reel goals.

Maybe it’s just a nostalgia thing, but I like the Ducks original uniforms best. The one Paul Kariya wore in the beginning. I was at the Disneyland Hotel in 1994 days before the earthquake in January and I remember watching a Ducks game on TV. Every time the Ducks scored (which wasn’t often), Tinkerbell would appear on the screen with her magic wand. Apparently even her magic wasn’t enough that first year, but I still enjoy the logo. Kids who didn’t grow up with the movie probably wouldn’t care much for the logo, but I still like it. They took an old school style goalie mask from the 60s and 70s and turned it into a duck. I thought it was pretty cool.
I really like their current jerseys but if they replaced the logo with the Mighty Ducks logo with the orange triangle it would be perfect
The Mighty Ducks word mark jersey was actually introduced for the 03-04 season, right after their 2003 Cup Finals run and right before the 04-05 lockout but yeah, it sort of foreshadowed the Ducks being sold by Disney to their current owners now. Much to my surprise, the Minnesota Wild plagiarized that word mark jersey without legal retribution.
I like the individual team jersey breakdown video idea. I'm hoping to have a complete collection of all teams in a year or two, whatever the budget responsibly allows. Just over half way there now and it's fun to just put on other teams jersey just for hanging around the house.

I’ve always loved that 2014 stadium series jersey. They need to bring it back it’s kind of rare but it’s also really slick.

Shannon has more Ducks jerseys which is his LEAST favorite team than I have had jerseys in my entire life. I've had Brodeur, Brodeur, Parise, and Hall. That's it 😂
Ah, Ahaheim. The only NHL team never to have had a decent jersey & logo combination. The black San Diego jersey is nice though.
Their current jerseys aren't what you call traditional design, but it is nice that some teams don't do the traditional horizontal striping
Teal and purple were so massively popular in the early 90s among new teams and minor league teams – across all sports – and that famous Dixie cup pattern, that they were forever linked to that time and it started to look dated. Like a Vanilla Ice haircut.
I'd like to see them design a Wild Wing design with Wild Wing wearing a Wild Wing jersey and the Wild Wing on that jersey would also be wearing a Wild Wing and on into and infinite regression.
Does THG have any vintage jerseys from before plastic jerseys? I am old enough to have played youth hockey in cotton jerseys and was very excited to get my first plastic one.

When the Samuelis bought the ducks and changed the jerseys, the paid an homage to the county and state by using orange for Orange County and gold for The Golden State. They also claimed that they would not change the name, like Arte Moreno had done to the Anaheim Angels, changing the name to LA Angles of Anaheim, which pissed off the Angel fans. I do miss the teal and eggplant but love the 25th anniversary jersey.

The only Anaheim jerseys I don't particularly care for are the inaugural Mighty Ducks ones they wore until their Cup-winning rebranding though I love the ones that Nike made in the late-'90s with the mesh armpits and shiny fabric.
The script baseball-style alternates from 2003-06 were a miss for me as well. The 25th anniversary jerseys are probably my favorite followed by the Reverse Retro 2.0s.
