   I think the one piece we are clearly missing is a superstar forward, and everybody already knows that. Maybe we get surprised and somebody in our system becomes that. Other then that we have quality and a high quantity of defensive prospects, and some great forward prospects and 2 great goalie prospects. We have a franchise RHD, we have a top 20-15 centre in the league. Any position by 2026-2027 besides superstar talent is available to be picked up in free agency or a trade, and wingers are typically cheap in free agency and trades.

   If we hit a home run on one of Kasper or Danielson we’re contenders very soon. It’s a pretty big “if”, but that is the one true piece we’re missing.

   3 – where is the 1G coming from if not Cossa?
