Lol. The only “Blockbuster” trade Sharks could do would be closer to the bankrupt, failed video rental business definition of the word, not the lower case version. Stupid speculation.
Only talking as an hypothetical. Even if this could be a possibility. I would prefer to add as well with Eklund is Eetu Makiniemi (goaltender) on top as Calgary’s 3rd/4th stringer.
If the Flames traded Lindholm for picks and prospects I could see them acquiring Couture from San Jose or Kuznetsov from Washington. With that said this trade makes no sense, giving up Lindholm and Vladar, and taking on a cap dump in Couture, to only get Eklund back seems like a terrible deal.
