  1. The rumors are insane because all the FAKE hockey people are over rating him and his worth thinking we are getting a gold medal for him.Jeff Petry was NOT taken in the trade he was given to make th eHoffman trade work so imo there was zero intent on getting any value out of Petry. Jeff Petry is washed up let's get that FACT out of the way his worth to even a contender would be VERY little at the very best a second line pairing "if desperate"but won't do much there.Right now there is maybe 2-3 teams that have ANY cap space and of those 3 Arizona for example wouldn't take on an aged player contract AND give you something back instead Arizona would want YOU to give them something to take him.

  2. I agree that the oilers deal is a win win for both teams. Bourgault or Lavoie would be a very nice return for Petry, who still has a lot to offer a cup contending team.

  3. In fact, I'll bet Edmonton is on Petry's No trade list. I think Detroit and Dallas are much more likely scenarios. At his age he wants to be close to his family

  4. Peety! the guy who s TRADE VALUe just keeps going and going ! like that battery rabbit commercial! >>> bet G and H find a perfect re -build piece for him!

  5. You guys don't understand that Petry and his family doesn't want to be in Canada! I called BS on every trade rumors you had and obviously I correct. To add why does he have a Russian flag on his background? Shame on you!

  6. I don’t think yous are way off on the Edmonton idea! It makes the most sense! He’s a minute muncher and would help in their quest for the Cup! Yes he played there before but he’s at the end of his career and I think he’d welcome a one last chance at a Cup! Good video Guys!

  7. No to Edmonton….Petry will not go. What are you even thinking!!

If the Habs can get rib of Petry for zero return it is still a win. Will be gone before the season.

  8. That was a waste of five minutes I'll never get back.

  9. But I own a home with no mortgage.Nova Scotia 🇨🇦

  10. As always, love the show. You two are always dead on ! Gotta ask, what’s with the funny looking Stache Josh? If they can’t get a good return for Petry before the season starts, they should keep him till the deadline….teams will pay then.

  11. …yeah, but….Oilers still don't have a goalie! Why don't we move Allen as well, and get a better pick(s) sent back our way?
Don't get me wrong…I'm a big fan of Jake Allen, but with what we've picked up in the off-season this year, we have a glut of 'em now!

  12. an injury prone player on the downside of his career with a long list of notrade trade teams,be lucky to get a bag of pucks, but montreal fans think they will get a first or second and a top prospect..

  13. I think Edmonton MIGHT be the only team in Canada Petry would go to. I could see Dallas, Florida, TB or any team close to Michigan but not likely Detroit. Petry would likely want to go to Detroit but they are also rebuilding so Petty is too old for Detroit.

  14. To Edmonton Jeff Petry 50% Retained

To Montreal Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl 4 unprotected First Round Picks and 7th round pick…….

    😂😂😂😂😂

  15. so the only issue with all this is that petry has a 15 team no trade list. he wants to be closer to his family in Michigan. this is why he didn't go to San Jose. it worked out in the penguins favor shedding more cap space but if this no trade clause wasn't a thing we wouldn't be having this conversation currently

  16. Petry does not want to go any team on the west coast. Anaheim not happening. Expect Chicago, Detroit or Dallas as most plausible landing spots.

  17. None of those make much sense to me from the Habs perspective. The Oilers deal is closest, but why would we want to add even more clutter (Foegele, etc) to our existing glut of 2nd and 3rd tier forwards? I'd prefer to see Petry play here (which I know is unlikely), or be packaged up with a couple of our other minor prospects and a draft pick to acquire a solid top-six forward.
