Shocking. Team with 3 NHL goaltenders and one waiver eligible prospect is open to trading one of their goalies. Truly, truly shocking.

That’s great, just please don’t take on any more forwards or defencemen! We have too many players for too few spots as it is. Either package a goalie and a prospect for a better prospect, or take nothing but picks.

Getting rid of Hoffman was great, but it added to our surplus of defencemen and goalies. Hopefully getting rid of a goalie (and Petry!) doesn’t add to the logjam at another position.

Count on sports ‘journalists’ for the spiciest, scorching-hot, ball waxingest, yarn slingingest, truck dumpingest, red-hot-nickel-ballingest, sun explodingest takes.

We need to be able to trade sports journalists.

Any of our non Montembault goalies can go.

I have a feeling there is way more to this report…. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the main objective here is to package asset(s) along with one of our current goaltenders for a starter.

I won’t sit here and make up trade scenarios, but fact of the matter is, Hughes has tons of prospects and some picks to toss into a trade to acquire a goalie. For example, Hart, Demko, Gibson? Etc….

    Should be interesting!
