I think Boston is on its last legs.

So much trust in the Sabres on this sub even though they haven’t even proven themselves yet.

  3. WelNix2007

    Montreal, Detroit, Buffalo, Boston

  4. JustJohan49

Imma just gonna sit here and play my sad trombone

  5. 931634

toronto, tampa and boston are in … as usual

  6. ZukesFan14

The only team that we know for sure won’t make it is the Habs, all the other teams could make it, but I think the Red Wings and the Sens will miss it

  7. Erkules19

    Montreal, Detroit and Boston

Only NYR, NJ and CAR make it in the Metro.

  8. JUNGLE_HABITAT

Habs, Wings, Sens. I’m torn between Bruins and Sabres but I think Buffalo sneaks in this year.

  9. The_Lord_Stanley

For the first time in a loooong time I don’t think it’s extremely stupid to suggest we actually make it this year

  10. Kooky-Seesaw9890

From the bottom to the top, Red Wings Bruins Habs Sens or Bolts (gonna depend if Vasilevskiy remain healthy)

  11. ConstructionOk765

    Send jabs buffalo and boston

  12. Fit_Use9941

You can make a case for every single team to make the playoffs

  13. amach9

Wings, Habs and Panthers. I think only 3 teams from the Metro get in this season.

Who are Bostons top 2 centers right now? Zacha and Coyle? Yeah, I don’t think Pasta can carry that team enough to make it this year.

  15. Numerous_Resist_8863

    The Bruins have me nervous…

  16. angry1gamer1

Panthers will miss and it will be controversial

  17. Dece86

1 or 2 of those teams in that picture WILL miss the playoffs

  18. BoogerSlime666

Montreal, Ottawa, Detroit, and 50/50 for buffalo or boston

  19. fliporflop47

    Montreal, Bruins, Sens, Buffalo

    Toronto, Tampa, Florida and Boston.

    Imagine.

  22. Bingochips12

Tampa, Toronto, and Florida finish top 3 so the rest are fighting for wild card spots with the metropolitan. Maybe ottawa or Boston squeak in.

    Edit:Or Buffalo

  23. gothvan

MTL and hopefully we’ll finish last. better than and get a good pick then barely missing the playoffs

  24. AkiraleTorimaki

Sabres, Red Wings, Canadiens, and Senators.

Neither of the Florida teams will miss out and Toronto is a consistent competitor.
As for the Bruins…they barely make it in.

The Habs are the only sure thing to miss. The other 7 all have a plausible argument and path to the playoffs. If I were to guess the standings and points?

    1. Toronto – 105-110 points – barring more catastrophic goalie injuries, I think the Leafs win this dogfight but I could see them flipped with the second place team

    2. Buffalo – 100-105 points – they would have been on this pace without a November nosedive. Sabres playoff drought ends this year and with UPL and Levi waiting to take the net, the Sabres are going to be scary very soon.

    3. Boston – 95-100 points – they were decimated down the middle but they’re too strong on the blueline, in net and too well coached to fall off the face of the earth, even if I have no idea who’s scoring after the first line.

    4. Tampa Bay – 90-95 points – they lost a lot of bottom six depth AGAIN but they’ve usually been pretty good at promoting from the farm with minimal falloff and I can’t see Vasy, Stammer and Kucherov not dragging them to at least a wild card.

    5. Ottawa – 90-95 points – They’re a team™️. All jokes aside. I think they could be WC2 and I think they’ve been steady goaltending away from pushing for the playoffs for the last two years. A healthy Norris will help immensely.

    6. Detroit – 90-95 points – they’re going to make another small climb but whether that’s enough? I’m unconvinced because of how stacked this stupid division is. I unfortunately think deBrincat is going to score like a second line winger rather than the first liner they need him to be.

    7. Florida – 85-90 points – they’re a 100 point team but they’re going to be banged up to start the season after a long playoff run and I’m not positive in their ability to dig out of that hole.

    8. Montreal 65-70 points – in a normal division I think they’re an 80 point team but not here. They’ll tread water again but they’re being built correctly this time. Their time is in 2 years
