    I think he does. Canucks will still make that last move, and I'm betting it's going to be Myers or Garland. Brock has one more shot here to have a good bounce back year after all the coaching changes and his father passing (RIP Duke) and I'm hopeful he'll put in a solid season with the extra training time he is apparently putting in this off season.

    Allvin so far has done a great job this summer. So your telling me we have a chance? (dumb and dumber reference….. ) solid moves so far… just unload Garland and Myers without giving up picks and prospects.

    The biggest difference to the Benning era is that every guy they've brought in, even the ones that failed, are all highly skilled relative to their salary; whereas with Benning they brought in recognizable names that didn't have the skills to go with their salary and reputation and/or were on a downward trajectory due to injuries. Basically, with PA it seems like the scouting team are calling the shots.

    Clay, you’re entirely mistaken and waste your breath trying to comply. An NHL team is only required to carry 20 players to start the season, not 23. If they wanted they could send their spares to Abby. Do you think they’ll care much if the likes of Studnicka, Di G or Pearson are picked up on waivers? Because that is the only real concern here. After Day 1, they can use the Poolman LTiR space to bring them back if desired. NO TRADE REQUIRED

    Pearson makes the team then Hoglander gets sent down to the AHL as I don't think he has to pass through waivers. Injuries will happen and he'll get called back up. I STILL think Myers is getting traded, so if Myers gets traded we suddenly have a lot of cap space to bring in another solid player.

    if we didnt have an injured demko and he played how he usually does. we would of won 6 more games. if we had a league average pk… that alone would of put us in the playoffs lol

    wouldn't the cap be under still because of poolmans LTIR of 2.5M if pearson puts us over by 1M

    You absolutely killed it in your analysis. The fake Vancouver media were all complaining how much the our team is over the cap and how nobody wants our players . Just shows how ignorant the Vancouver media really is . And of course your correct analysis. God bless man , I listen to you in season all the time . Not so much in the off season
