  1. I think everyone wins honestly but I’m really excited to get pitlick too I really didn’t expect that!!! Let’s go pens

  2. I think Pittsburgh wins this one, they got a great player and gave up relatively little. Montreal did well too, no great returns but it makes sense for organizational reasons (freeing up roster spots for young guys). San Jose…I don't get what they like about the return they got, but I guess it was that or nothing and nothing wasn't an option for them.

  3. ugh another trash Habs podcast. You guys are a bloody pandemic. Delusional fans.

  4. Great move from kent at least pitlick and Hoffman (off man) gone Petry back it can help young defences and easier to trade Petry than Hoffman great move

  5. ❤, now we have 9 defenders so I believe petry gets flipped and wideman goes on waivers and help out the young D in Laval. Primeau will most likely get picked up on waivers so DeSmith will replace primeau in Laval as I don’t think he’ll be picked up off waivers as he makes 1.8 million. Allen is a great veteran that will help out Monty grow. Now we have 14 forwards instead of 16. That’s great since we can keep them all to start season in Montreal. Hoffman and pitlick didn’t have much value

    Big win for the Habs!
    Love this management team

  6. Pittsburgh is still paying 11.5+ for the first two years of the Karlsson deal when you factor in the Petry money in the position he is replacing, that being said the PP will be a force and that is how Crosby likes to lead his charge to the Stanley Cup. The overall +/- in 5 on 5 will have to be worked at but can be practiced with precision. Good luck Penguins the 4th cup is at camp somewhere you just have to find it. 🧩

  7. I thought all sides where fairly treated in these trades.. San Jose can trade those guys they got for more picks…

  8. Penguins fans, get used to Dubas gambling with all of your first round picks. He mostly made good moves in Toronto, but when he left the prospect pool isn't that great. Foligno for a first rounder stunk pretty bad.

  9. As a Pens fan love the deal, bummed to lose Rutta. DeSmith is a decent backup, undersized can have issues with a team who gets traffic to the net. Pens still saved 3m in this and removed the sins of Hextall past. Hated the Granlund deal before and proved to be fruitless. Petry was ok but a liability defensively.
