@Penguins de Pittsburgh

1. – Absolutely honored to get a shoutout on the show today! Thanks Hunter and Pat! You're the best!

    – A $2.5 x 3-year contract for Tatar would make it so Pitlick has to get buried in the AHL and they would have to run a bare minimum 20-player roster.

    – I think Tatar is the perfect fit for the team, adds great depth scoring to the bottom-6, provides flexibility on the left or right side of the lines if anyone gets hurt, he can easily slot up the lines, as needed.

    – Tatar would be the cherry on top of an already delicious offseason cake that Dubas has been cooking.

    – There are going to be so many options for the Penguins next offseason, as cool as it would be to get an Auston Matthews, there are a plethora of people they could grab and maybe make an even deadlier team than they have this year to really go ALL IN and push for cup contention.

    – If Jarry is really 100% healthy this season and Nedeljkovic can play even remotely close to how he did in his Calder nominated season in Carolina, OOOH BOY, watch out!

  2. dont be shock that kyle is gonna ask matthew come to pitts since he got no contract

  3. Jeff Carter at 3 million this year is killing the Pens. And they have no way to get rid of that $

  4. So excited to get that extra cap space, with a legitimate top six splash we have a cup contender on paper

  5. Tatar would absolutely bolster the forwards but I don't see how it's possible as things stand right now. Only paths I can see are if Dubas makes a cap dump trade or if Tatar agrees to a tryout and then Dubas waives Pitlick or someone like that to make room to sign him.

  6. Too add on to the shoutout to my man Matt dude is one of the more die hard penguins fans I’ve ever got to talk to and always provides unlimited details. Can’t wait for a healthy jarry and as usual an amazing show #TartarWatch

  7. In my humble opinion, I feel the two individuals in the organization who will be watched carefully is Jarry & Sullivan. If and I say if, the Pens don't make it to the playoffs Sullivan will or should be in the "hot seat" and if Jarry doesn't have a bounce back year, I hope Dubas will make the necessary changes? I may be way off but those are my thoughts. You both ROCK!!👍🏻👌🏻

  8. The problem for goalies in Pittsburgh is they don't have players that clear the net and give them room to maneuver. The Penguins need to get players that can do that to help their goalies.

  9. I guess i dont understand the non use of LTIR for jake. they keep saying he will be re evaluated at 12 weeks. Doesnt he have to get some time to get his legs and wind back. If they are saying that he will miss 5-6 games, why not extend it to 10 to give him time to heal and to use the LTIR $$. its 12 weeks with no set backs. bringing in tatar become easier for next yr when carter (and 3.25M) comes off the books.

  10. are they going to put a cap on how many regular season games jarry plays to keep him fresher/healthier for the playoffs?

  11. Here my prediction like Kyle will be gm until our core retire and then he will fine a person who could build a new penguins team cause I feel Kyle is not gm that want to do rebuild more of building a playoff team
