Weird, audio totally stops for me at about the 13 minute mark.
Interesting talk about Pesce/Skiej. Per DW, Pesce talks have been quiet for about a month but they hope to resume them around training camp. Skiej was not mentioned at all unless it was in that period of muteness I encountered. Could just be a PR answer but I’m starting to wonder if Skiej becomes the guy we’re shopping out.
Also curious about what the deals with “other NHL teams” to send down players look like.

Really interesting interview. Fun to hear the jokes about Quebec.
I’m surprised that he outright said the Orlov deal was insurance on if one or both of the pair left this off season. Seems he wants to keep the second pair if possible but then the signings kind of point to this not being the case.
Also he agreed again that trade deadline isn’t somewhere we are looking at rentals and so we are loading up at the start of the year.
But if that’s the case then rolling the dice on one of skjei or pesce leaving at the end of the year seems like it’s not really something he would want to do…
Will be interesting to see if we reach camp with both guys.
