Man, that’s a bit of a shame for a 2nd round pick. I know we were all hoping he could turn out to be some secondary firepower on our middle 6 one day.

I wish him the best. He didn’t really develop as hoped after we drafted him, so I think passing is the right call here. GR is going to be crowded with NHL hopefuls the next few seasons, and I think many already under contract have a better shot at making the big show.
