When u have a GM and a coach on 2 different pages it’s not gonna work. I believe Hexatal wanted a bigger tougher team and Sully wants to coach quicker faster players.

Zucker was terrible! He had a good 4 months out of like 4 years of nothing but getting rich by sitting in the press box and taking an occasional skate to stretch his legs.

Additions: Koppanen, Johnstone, Pieniniemi (ELC straight from draft)
Subtractions: Poehling, Archibald, Bonino, Caggiula, Hallander, Lindberg. The last 2 are technically still part of the organization, but likely done playing in North America. They went back to Sweden.
Most of this is very minor outside of Poehling and Archibald, who were regulars.
I think Koppanen has a sliver of a chance of playing next year, because he's a Center.
like they say, Dubas always goes for the best player, no matter how many millions it sets them back. But its not always the right payer….

100 point season for Crosby is a mortal lock my friend. High 20s in PPP will turn into high 30s or 40s this season. Book it. 10-20 more PPP points for Sid with EK running that unit. Also Malkin is a beast on the PP and should be unstoppable with EK setting up his one timers.
Dubas had helped you guys become more competitive – but I don't think it'll be enough. Time will tell, but to me Jarry is still suspect, and there's some really strong Metro teams you'll have to play through. Looking forward to the Pens v Devils games this year.
