No. Not because he is not worthy. We don’t need our best defenseman dealing with the shitshow that is Vancouver media. It will grind him down and burn him out.

There are things that as fans we will never see that they will take into consideration when they will choose the captain.
But Tocchet for example said it clearly that Quinn is the one who became a leader in the locker room this year and was able to say uncomfortable things to the room calling out teammates and coaches last year when things weren’t going well. Dakota Joshua also said Quinn snapped at practice telling guys to pick up the pace. If teammates and coaches respect him and listen to him, he’s the right choice
