The kind of guy you want in your bottom six in the playoffs.
at 2mil he's great value for money.
the leafs are paying kampf more for less.
Toronto Fans were livid when this guy left.
Leafs fans are always livid since that team has done nothing in 56 years 😂
Leaf fans
are the Leafs the Browns of the NHL??
I absolutely enjoy your content DK!!!😊👍🏻
Good podcast Dejan, he will be an important addition
Acciari was a nice addition to the bottom 6, and the term is in line with the concluding years of the Core.
Totally agree with the point system argument
Love guys like Acciari who put in total effort, every night!
Goaltending is still horriable and still to old
I know most Toronto fans were pissed when Acciari was not picked up again by Toronto. I hope he lives up to his expectations.
Acciari was 22-23 top 10 in hits (244). Closest Pens last year were Zucker (197), Archibald (195), Petry (190), Letang (162)
Wouldn’t the wrong side of 30 be 37 or 39? He’s 31. I’d say he on the right side of 30…
Regarding J1Q of this episode: I would never feel sad about an OT win in that particular situation. Because two points are always better than one point.
If the Pens get an equalizer in the waning moments of the third quarter and win it in OT what kind of a person would feel, let's just say, incomplete?
I would be very excited.
And then just imagine that the teams are tied late in the third quarter of one of the last games of a regular season and one or both teams need three points rather than the two. Because, let's say, they want to leapfrog another team or three in the standings.
Would they pull the goalie with the score tied?
I would love to see those in-game situations.
Accairi gives 100% every shift. He was beloved in Toronto.
I wish he was 24, but we’ll take his style of play quite happily.
I remember when “Cookie” (his league wide nickname) played against the Leafs in the playoffs with the Bruins a few years back.
Just a belligerent, relentless, determination to not let the opposition past the red line.
Just a clinic on how to play smothering defence!
I personally think they shouldn't do loser points at all. Either do draws, each team gets a point, or winner takes all in a 10 min OT period. I know people don't like draws for some reason, but I think loser points are even more anti-competition. So many times under a minute or 2 minutes when teams are tied they don't try just to get that loser point.
