The flyers started their rebuild 5 years too late, but at least it’s finally happening.
Full rebuild mode but Marc Staal being a top pairing defenseman for them is awful

We just got Michkov and Gauthier basically a year into the rebuild….I’d say that’s a good start
If we get rid of Hart it'll be a huge mistake, think Bob to Cbus. We been needing a full time starter for 30 years and now that we have some org depth at goalie(thank you hexy) those guys are still unproven.
Congratulations to Keith Jones on getting the job. I will miss him announcing though, he was one of my favorite commentators.

Philadelphia has time to try and develop players
Very positive on this team (this was the opposite for a long, long time). Truly is a new era like they're advertising it as. Don't know why they took so long to let go of Fletcher. I can guarantee he takes Leonard instead of Michkov. Rebuild aside this team is much better than people let on. Yes the defense is bad but they have pieces to be within the wildcard race but not necessarily go to the playoffs. Good young offense that's getting back two pretty important players, bettered the locker room, got some mentors. Few breakout candidates including Foerster (who I am very high on), Frost/Tippett over a full season playing at their end season level will be better, Cates could improve offensive game, etc etc. Hockey doesn't work logically (all logic points to them being better) so we will see. It is an exciting time, though
