Man we sure could have used a winger like Ehlers from 2016 to 2023! Maybe if the Islanders had actually gotten a winger for Tavares or Barzal the Islanders wouldn’t have to trade for wingers every year.
The tweet is also worded weird. I believe what they try to say is he drafted mdc over Ehlers bc Ehlers had the same agent as nino. And obviously nino’s tenure here was well…… not great

Dal Colle was the consensus pick. Can’t blame Garth that it didn’t turn out to be a good move but he picked the guy he was supposed to, it’s not like he went off the board.
I looked this up the other day and I think, points-wise, MDC is bottom 5 of those drafted in the 1st round of his class. Even Ho-Sang had more points in half the games.
Snow sucked but the one who altered the Islanders trajectory is all Mike Milbury. I still think the Rangers were secretly paying him to sabotage our team, I mean there’s almost no other explanation for how quickly he turned the makings of an extremely good team into garbage.
Don’t forget he also picked ho-sang against the wishes of the entire scouting staff. Practically every early 1st round pick from that clown was a disappointment or outright bust. Fuck Garth snow.
