Their definitely not going to win the cup in the next couple of years, dont have the depth or the defense at the moment. Treliving has alot of work to do. But wed be even farther from the cup if we didnt have matthews.

Respectfully glad he's still here BUT it's a "me" deal. Yes he left some money on the table but it still handcuffs the team and Marner is going to get another raise he's not deserving of (in my opinion). I'm sorry to say I do not see them winning a cup. And that's sad for me because I'm a Torontonian and the Leafs are my team. 😢
