Islanders pp gets to 20 something % they will surprise a lot of people, this team is closer then people realize imo
The scary part is that this team underachieved by 5 wins largely due to 8-14 OT/12-18 in one-goal games. The only thing that might stop them is Benn, Pavelski and Duchene all choosing this year to turn officially Old.
The boost to the offense from Duchene and possibly others make this team a favorite. I think they can make a cup run. 1st in the Central with 112-117 points.
Been looking forward to this one! Super excited for the Stars this year. My only concern is maybe there's too much positive buzz? No one really predicted Dallas to do as well as they did last off-season, but who knows?
They need more defenseman who can move their feet that is what really held them back

I remember them coming out and saying Otter was playing through some stuff in the playoffs. I'm sure they would have liked to rest him more leading up but with Wedgewood's injury they didn't have many viable options.
I'd like to know Otter's playoff numbers from games where the Stars did NOT lose a key player (Pavelski, Miro, Benn) early in the game. BTW, if Miro goes out, GAPING hole…like season over.

Dallas was fun to watch last year, so I expect the same this year. They might just end up top 5 in the league.
