The Kings current logo would be great if it was left alone with the design but the shape was shaped like a shield.
That would fit the "Kings" theme as Kings and shields kind of are synonymous…
I wanted the kings to pick Zegras in the draft solely on the fact he could score. At the time basically no one was scoring on the kings. I didn’t even care about Dfence at that point. He could fill a role like a fiala does now
I remember the Gretzky trade. I was a season ticket holder, and Nick Nickson personally called me, at work, to renew my ticket. I decided not to renew. What a fool I was, because this was offered before the trade! I went to as many games that year as I could, 24 in total, which I paid more than I did last year as a season ticket holder! Not good money management, but well worth it!

I liked McLellan for a long time. It seemed the players respected him and bought into his system. The fact of the matter is they blew game 7 2 seasons ago and they really did not play well in this past playoffs. It's just that the playoffs are not the regular season and McLellan did not have his players all that ready to play. 2022 Game 7 was such a huge disappointment. They came out tight and not willing to attack. It looked like they were in their heads too much. None of that Park and Ride mentality. 2023 playoffs and they wasted some great performances by Korpisalo. The top line needed more possessions time and the Oil had the Kings figured out by stripping Byfield whenever he triee using that long reach and they did not attack Nurse enough who is flat footed on D. They chose to play more passive and were afraid to make mistakes. Even when Fiala got back he did not seem like he was prepared for games. It seemed like they lost before they even lost. Winning 2 our of the first 3 but with some luck. I kinda want a coach like Berube to come in. A tough son of a gun. Maybe Dale Hunter or something.
90s Chevy logo was the best. Crowns are a bit much, not into anything monarchy related.
