almost never becomes available. The Sabres acquiring him would be akin to the Panthers acquiring Tkachuk or Vegas acquiring Eichel. Fortunately the Sabres are perfectly setup to acquire him in the event he becomes available.
The cost would be insane. I’m sure he would cost more than Eichel or Tkachuk at the times of their trades. Like I feel like they would want Cozens, grade A prospect, 1st, 2nd or something like that

That’s probably not enough/not the right mix. Obviously, you have to give to get, but I wouldn’t include any of Tage, Cozens, Dahlin, Power, Benson, or Levi in the deal. I guess Benson I probably would’ve if he’s the centerpiece.
