Sounds like Guerin offered league minimum so Addison is probably waiting to sign to see if there is any outside interest.
Is anyone shocked that Ballys streaming $19 didn't work? 😂
The current NHL point system is a laughable abomination. You can't have games worth 2 points yet other games worth 3 points. It's asinine.
Quick question, if Addison did get an offer elsewhere, what would the Wild get as compensation? He’ll sign but curious.
As for the media fiasco, anytime you get lawyers involved – it’s becomes a shit-show. If I can’t watch the Wild, I’m going to go nuts. One recommendation, make sure you get the NHL package, that way you at least get your hockey fix. I know you can go from NY to Pittsburgh to the Midwest, mountain time and then the west coast. It’s a fun night with a few beers 💯..
Alex, you hit it on the head, 3×3 10:00 minutes is my #1. I hate the SO for the extra point. No one wins, 1 point each.
The point thing is also interesting but it does keep teams in the 9-11 seeding range in the hunt for post season a tinge longer.
Seeding is also a crazy, maybe just flip the divisions. 2 central verses 3 western. Whoever has the higher point total gets home ice. It does get stale looking at the same teams over and over. Look at Tampa / Toronto, that’s crazy as an example out east.
In a tied game or 1 goal game, the game can't end with penalty time on the clock. Example if there is 45 seconds game and a team commits a penalty then 1 minute and 15 seconds is added to the clock.
To all my friends on this show
I use a streaming service that's basically
Black market it streams all blacked out local games so don't worry it costs
Ten dollars a month and you can watch
Any game anywhere
If you're interested let me know
As I will not say how to do it on this platform so let me know
Remove the trapezoid, let goaltenders with puck handling skills use them
I'm not a big fan of Addison mainly because the Wild need to get bigger on the blueline. At the same time, they do need his shot because Middleton, Brodin, and Faber won't provide much offense. Brodin has done a great job covering for Dumba, so he'd do the same for Addison. I'd rather see them trade for a bigger defenseman who has the same upside offensively, but I don't think any player like that is available.
20$ a month for a not even all the Mn teams to watch over the winter on a subpar broadcast is a little ridiculous. Hulu without ads is 16$ a month for so much more.
I don't think it's that complicated and I'm confused how you guys don't see a reason why it hasn't been signed. Addison wants more than the $787k than is offered and is willing to wait to see if he can get it. He's working out in MN, so it's not like it's a big stand off with hurt feelings. It really doesn't matter if he signs today or on September 10. But if he waits, then there's a chance that, for example, Merrill is traded and they can afford to throw Addison a couple more stacks
one rule to change would be getting rid of NTC/NMC
