Loved when he went toe to toe with Tkachuk. Never evolved into the #1 C we all hoped for (we all know why) but was a well rounded player for us.
Fuck Tom Wilson.
Fuck Tom Wilson. My favorite memory of him is when he played on a line with Hartnell and Dano, I think we called it the « Chaperone line? »
He would be a damn good fit for this team now.
I loved when he would accidentally pass it into the back of the net!
Watching him, Boone, and Vanek start killing it in 2018 even if it ultimately ended badly (obligatory fuck Tom Wilson).
I also loved seeing him start to get his confidence back and help Fligs light up the Maple Leafs in the bubble.
When we bought him out. We ruined him, brought him up to early cuz of the season from hell and he never developed properly. Then just when he was showing promise…Tom Wilson erased that.
I remember once he took a shot on an empty net instead of passing. Loved him back in the day, but he might be one of the most infuriating super talented young players to watch though.
