This is hilarious.
Too long? Yeah. Too much money? Mayfield at 3.5 mil is kind of a steal. I guarantee most teams on the open market would’ve given a guy like him $5-6 mil for around 3 or 4 years.

Canceled my subscription almost exclusively due to him. Given that they’re currently try to give their content away for $1/month when it was $8 when the Athletic launched, something tells me this company is struggling for a userbase to fund their massive payroll of journalists.
Anyone else notice the higher amount of clickbait titles the Athletic has put out compared to 3-4 years ago?

why are people getting mad at dom? this is literally just the result of a poll. if you’re more optimistic, why didn’t you just vote and express your opinion? if you had, maybe we would have been higher.
I’m not confident at all in the team or front office, but I’m surprised that we were dead last, only because this is voted on by our fans.
