A huge number of those tickets are being sold to leafs fans by sabres STHs that want to make a quick buck off of the most profitable games of the year, maybe instead they should investigate why their most supportive fans are so soft…

And who are these leaf fans buying the tickets from? Bet you it’s Sabre fans. Maybe if they weren’t so soft and stopped selling their tickets to us we wouldn’t take over their barn every time we are in town.

Just looking on Ticketmaster.com and for the Leafs vs Sabres game in Buffalo on December 21, right now the only tickets available are resale. That means they are being sold by Sabres season ticket holders, at double and triple the amount. For example two seats in section 106, row 5, are $760.50, which is the cost before taxes.
Plus this news makes the Sabres look like hypocrites. In the past when they sold tickets at face value, during their home games against the Leafs when they had surge pricing. That’s when they charged more for the same seats compared to a home against the Coyotes.

Also, lot’s of Leafs fans have season tickets in Buffalo and sell the other games because it’s cheaper to have aeasons there for the 3 or 4 games than to just buy game dayntickets in Toronto.

lmao maybe the leafs should start eyeing restrictions on revenue sharing with small market teams

You’re welcome for filling the seats because no locals wanted to support your dogshit franchise.
The most shocking hockey statistic I’ve probably ever heard is that Buffalo had an even worse record over the last 10 seasons than Arizona. Think about that, there’s a team worse than Arizona.

This is just stupid clickbait.
There is no way Buffalo would/should ever entertain this idea. When the Leafs play Buffalo, hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, concessions etc all benefit from the visiting crowd.
I love going and watching games in Buffalo, and from my experience they love having us down there.

Leafs fans should try to take over a random Sabres game during the season, just out of spite. Have the arena full of Leafs jerseys on a random Thursday against the Wild

« god i hate leaf fans taking over every arena they play in »
« please share some of that sweet revenue with us, our 2000 fans aren’t enough for us to pay anybody more than 3 mil/ year its not fair! »

And what about the Sabres fans who live in the Niagara region?
Fuck them, I guess.

Okay. So that takes care of official on sale tickets but Ticketmaster. Stubhub, SeatGeek, and STH’s on Facebook do not care about these rules and that’s where 99% of leafs fans get their tickets. I’ll be there this season in the proper blue jersey.

The only reason the Sabres still are a franchise is because Canadians go over and buy tickets

Then show up and support your own team.

This might be the wrong fight for this post but if any of y’all have a SO who’s been dying to see Taylor Swift in Toronto only to have their ticket opportunity go to an American…….. is this not the same shit?
Only Toronto puts up with it and doesn’t apply the same rules to other cities. Like, what is that?
