Ten goals scored, four lead changes. If this isn't exciting hockey in the Stanley Cup Finals, I don't know what is. All by first timers in the big show, Vegas and Washington. Will this go seven games? Only time will tell, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Just game 1… the caps are most likely gonna bounce back. I like Vegas but Ovi needs a cup so the caps must win the series for his sake.
The Caps are going to have to adopt the same defensive strategy as Gallant has and have his defensemen in between the forwards and the goaltenders. Every goal for Vegas was a result of forwards being open in behind their D and the reason Vegas protects their leads so well is because their Dmen get behind the forwards and use their positioning to push the opposing forwards from the slot. According to the rulebook for the past 12 years, this is supposed to be interference, but it's clear the refs aren't calling it. So the Caps better adjust and fight fire with fire.
Who knew that a team from Vegas would come into the NHL and save the sport before it became so irrelevant that it'll die away and not one person would give a crap about it.
