  1. Quebec, Southern Ontario, Connecticut, Milwaukee, Seattle and Portland would make MUCH better markets for the NHL than Phoenix. Sorry, but that's the way it is. You can BUILD a fanbase if you win consistently (see: Nashville), but that's hard to do for anyone. Especially in leagues where there are salary caps.

  2. At least The Sport of Hockey does survive "In The Desert", unlike some other city "In the Heart of Dixie" that has now lost TWO NHL Teams. Before the Coyotes came to town, the Kings had a Minor League Team playing in Phoenix.

Stop making The City of Phoenix look naive towards NHL Hockey!

  3. Puckhead. If it wasn't for Gary Bettman and his band of 30 idiots paying the bills for the Coyotes. The team would not be there. You guys should be happy the commisioner is will to save your team at any cost. I do hope you guys keep the team and make it work. I would like to come there one day and see a game.

  4. Hopefully it won't 'survive' for much longer. This joke of a franchise has got to end/or relocate to a real hockey market. Think about it, all their glory years were spent in the WHA, a league that's been dead for 34 years. In their NHL existence as the Jets/Coyotes all they have is ONE division title? and prior to last season they went 25 years without winning one playoff series? Only one word to describe the Coyotes franchise : PATHETIC!

  5. Yeah, you got a point. Phoenix is definitely a Minor League Market, it has no business having an NHL Franchise. Maybe the Kings should relocate their Minor Leagues to Phoenix like they did before. But like I said, better Phoenix than Atlanta. Do you not agree?

  6. wow thanks for this history about coyotes team my passion for the team begining on ps1 when always play nhl 2001 i think since 2009-10 i see the nhl games on net
    god bless man

  7. Yeah, pretty much. The Suns dominate Phoenix Sports in the Winter Time. Only during Playoff Time do the Coyotes sell out. The Kings draw better than the Coyotes and it gets just as hot in Los Angeles as it does "In The Desert". Granted, neither city is like Detroit or Chicago, but at least they love and know their Hockey in Los Angeles, unlike Phoenix or San Jose(Another city that's a joke for the NHL).

  8. Well apparently none of you know much about Coyote Hockey. I went to almost every game last season and the fan base is way bigger than you all think. Just last week the team hosted a prospect camp, which was held during the week day but managed to have sanding room only because there were so many people. I saw pictures from other organizations, including Detroit and Chicago and none of them had more than 100 people at them. If people started to follow the Coyotes maybe they would see,,

  9. 15 years later, Atlanta lost an NHL team and Winnipeg returns with great pride and great support!!!

  10. With the exception of some teams, the Sun Belt has been a huge failure. If the Coyotes move to Hartford, I guarantee they'll be way more successful and popular than they are now! 🐳

  11. If you don’t know what the hell the five hole is your city shouldn’t have a team this was stupid I’m glad that they have a team now sooner or later it should be Quebec’s turn

  12. yep this move really saved the Jets 1.0, right? LOL idiots cant run this team, we have better owners and smarter ones now 🙂

  13. thre will be people tripping, elbowing roughing and swearing, and thats just people who want to see arizona win a home game for a change is more like it, what a pathetic team.

  14. should have moved them to seattle portland milwuakee saskatoon or minnesota. They all would have been better markets then phoenix. Minnesota because at the time minnesota had no team

  15. Hunter looks like Peter Keleghan's character Ranger Gord from Red Green show. Considering all the problems the Coyotes have had he's probably
    no smarter than Gord, eh?

  16. They never deserved that team. Winnipeg did. We got a team back as a fuck you. The REAL whiteout. A team that makes the playoffs. Hockey in the desert lol ps give the jets the rights to their history back. It means more to Winnipeg fans than the empty arena in the desert

  17. 1 of the puck/ball boys are correct on roughing by saying referee but shooting the puck? no.

  18. realistically both Arizona and Atlanta can support the NHL and you would be stupid not to think so. its all about ownership and not the fans.
