Great take. Canes always worry me (as a 🐻) They can seriously do damage when they're on. As we saw in '22 🤕
Anderson & their goalie situation hasn't helped during the regular season. Freddy was OUTstanding playoffs, yet those are very different stats than his regular-season
With that in mind, I'm not going to conflate his playoff performance with regular season- Ullmark could take a lesson.
I see Canes middle to upper playoff pack. No reason they shouldn't land squarely in the playoffs. They'd need a lot of injuries, you nailed it- they've got depth.
I don't know what happened against the Panthers?
(Only Marchand & Bruce Cassidy forced 7 games. Canes getting swept by the Panthers helped alleviate the pain, from 2022 also.)
If Kochetkov breaks out & they have a solid healthy goalie at playoffs- Canes will be dangerous again. Kochetkov looks goooood. 6'4" big Russian kid
