I found the article interesting… one reason, I was surprised by some of the “unworn” numbers. Would be interested to know if there are policies on some of those, or just numbers that players stay away from.

I would get 94 just because of NHL ‘94

Probert vs Chelios would be a hard choice. I’m glad Probert came out on top. He made watching games a lot more fun.

Larry Aurie got beat out by a guy named Cummy
Chelios…
They shorted Stevie 400 assists….
McCarty?
Larry Aurie?? Should have left his number retired.
2 things surprised me on this list.
1 no1s ever worn 88
2 Brian raflaski should be 28
#6-Larry Aurie
#17-Brett Hull had a greater impact as a Wing
#25-Darren McCarty played a role in all 4 modern cups and had pivotal goals in two runs
#26-List Probert, but not the other bruise brother????? KOCUR!
55 is gonna be a tough one. I’m hoping it’s Kronwall but I won’t be shocked if it’s Larry Murphy
Edit: hell yeah it was Kronwall
