#EdmontonOilers #Oilers #Canadiens #Habs #MontrealCanadiens

  1. as if. No way the oilers would spend all this time developing
and investing resources just to let him walk. Aint no PTO walk-ups gonna knee cap this future prospect.

  2. It almost a no brainer if the oilers are dum enough to let him go down on waivers any team would take a flyer on him he’s 6’4 and can score that’s rare combo

  3. First: IF the Oilers put him on waivers I can imagine a number of teams interested in this prospect including the Canadians.
Second: He's $874,125 against the Cap. There are Valid CAP reasons to waive him IF he blows at camp and rookie competition.
Third: I personally think it's about as likely as an honest politician that he gets waived. There is too much potential in that big body to just waste it. Trade at the deadline if you really need something and you're in Win Now mode and the something will put you over and make it more likely, sure but throw him away, don't see it.

Great vid as always. Take care all.

  4. If he gets claimed, I'm going to PERSONALLY fight the GM of whatever team claims him…

Okay, maybe not, like, Bill Armstrong, Pat Verbeek, Chris Drury, or Craig Conroy, but, like… Their staff would get it. 😂😂

  5. This is another result of Bouchard signing for 3.9 instead of 3.5
Also they can't have a 22 man roster now

  6. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. Surely they can find a spot for him and if not, then trade him and get something for him, at least.

  7. I’m from Montreal we never ever let go of are good prospects if it would comes to this we would trade him before for a pick at least…….if Edmonton doesn’t do that well just fire your GM because he’s simply not qualified to do the job plane and simple 🤷‍♂️

  8. habs fan here. we already have too many players at every position. we want to get our own prospects some playing time, like owen beck, joshua roy, and emil heineman. we want to play players like rafael harvey-pinard and jesse ylonen . lavoie is french, but he's not an upgrade on any of these players. we could call up sean farrell, lias andersson, or riley kidney if we need to. none of these guys are in our top six yet, and we have some dead weight in our bottom six (gallagher, armia), that we can't give away even for free. we have too many bodies as it is to consider taking on an average prospect from a team that only plays two lines anyway. you don't use holloway, put him on waivers and we'll take him. broberg is taking forever. you have bourgault, and not much else. and i still maintain you should have stayed at 20 and picked wallstedt instead.

no, it doesn't make any sense for us to take on lavoie. i could easily see a team like chicago taking a shot at him though – provided there aren't more exciting options available on the waiver wire.
