I love Phil, but his time has passed. Unless he comes in as says he's willing to sit when necessary his streak will b an issue. Even saying it won't matter. Nobody will want to be the one who killed the streak. He's never been super fast, and his defense is less than stellar. So why would somebody be willing to pay him much. Even on the 4th line, where you should have an identity or something similar, what would he bring? Not much.
Not a fan of these streaks getting forced to prolong. This was case with as you say Yandle and also with Marleau and Jarvis at the time. Larmer was screwed out of his streak. He was not on healthy scratch risk at the time.

As much as I wanted to see Shore return to the Oilers, we had Ryan, McLeod, and Bouchard who needed to be extended. And it's also a good time to take a look at our young forwards and see who is ready to crack a roster spot or be called up should something happen on or off the ice to one of our roster players. But hopefully Seattle can use him as a 4th line center. He can win a fair share of face-offs, and make it tough for some opposing Top 6 forwards to make plays.

Kessel did have 14 goals last season to go with 22 assists. He still has stuff left in him. Maybe a new team would push him to 20 goals 25 assists.

Carolina is a team that should pick up Kessel, given their lack of scoring. That place also has a way of rejuvenating some of the veterans that have played there.
Kessel is still good for about 30-50 points if utilized correctly. Still got some scoring left in him and has eternally underrated passing and IQ to his game too.
Yes he could lose some weight and yes he is a bit of a liability defensively especially after his speed dropping but on a 2nd or 3rd line / PP2 role on a team that has a solid top 9 he'd still have some use.
If he is willing to take that league minimum contract, even some contending teams might be interested. Would be funny to see him back in Pittsburgh or Toronto.
When do these teams have to get under the salary cap? I am told there are 12 teams over?

I am Luckey. we have all the streaming services. timing is everything. can record only three games at a time. have perfected skipping commercials and in between periods. definitely watching the Jackets, Leafs, Jets. would like to watch almost all but can't. hope you review, Flames, Kraken, Kings, Stars ,Rangers ,Canes Sens ,Bruins, Panthers Order delivery ,no cooking no dishes best of luck Shannon and company.
