  2. doug wilson is to blame for this dumpster fire. the best thing to do is for DW to move upstairs this offseason. sharks are about to be chicago without the cups.

  3. You said it perfectly regarding Simek. One player's injury should not be the reason why the team sucks. Simek personifies why Deboer got fired, as he was too scheme reliant and did not adjust to the strengths of his players when his starters were not available. Losing Vlasic and Simek against Vegas in the playoffs last year, then EK65 and Simek against the Blues, should not transition you from being competitive to being absolute garbage. He did not trust Joakim Ryan even though he had success with Burns in 17-18, and if Heed can have success with Vlasic, he can have success with Brenden Dillon (Who played extremely well last year).

  4. I said the sharks were not tough enough and Karlsson was pounded every time he touched the puck in the playoffs and no push back by the Sharks, sad and pathetic .Burns is a selfish player and pathetic as a defenseman . This has to be the worst goaltending I have ever seen .

  5. There are 2 people I blame: Doug Wilson and the players themselves

Doug Wilson is the reason the cap is so tight. Signing everyone to long term deals, most of which have no movement clauses, has really come back to bite us

As for the players, I mean you can't stay young forever, but they just look so lifeless on the ice. Martin Jones is just atrocious, Brent Burns is basically an overrated forward, and Erik Karlsson just flatout can't play hockey. The rest of the guys are old and declining

So my final verdict is that we need to completely blow it up: players, coaches, and even the GM. The glory days are done, and it's time we built for the future
