   *Using this information and the research from my previous post [(see here)] (https://www.reddit.com/r/CalgaryFlames/comments/102eru1/the_heritage_classic_jersey_has_already_been/) I do think I have found a match in the above jersey, which was first worn by the Calgary Stampeders – the hockey team, not the football one – which played from 1938-1972. Archival images suggest this uniform was worn during their latter years, being circa the 1950’s to 1960’s.*

   *While this isn’t a hard confirmation, the similarities in the crest makes this the closest match to any previous incarnation of a Calgary-based hockey team.
