  1. This series reminds me of Benicio del Toro's character in the movie Sicario:

Game 1 was when he carried that jug of water into the…"interview" room and proceeded to stand on the same molecule as the other guy – setting the tone.

Games 2 and 3 were more like the scene when he sticks his finger down Jon Bernthal's ear… maintaining the tone.

Having us so close in the rearview for 3/4ths of the season took it's psychological toll one game at a time…call me crazy but I actually preferred trailing them by two or three games rather than being up by two or three games 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 of the season, it becomes a burden…like a track event where they run a mile or two; the initial pacesetter's legs are almost always smoked after the midpoint, then the folks in the small group just behind the leader, end up in 1st…it just takes a little patience 😊

  2. Jose Abreu with his grand slam of the season as Alex Bregman and the Houston Astros wins the third ballgame over Marcus Semien and the Texas Rangers ⚾🔵🟠⚪⭐🚀

  3. Astros don't talk s*** when we hit Grand slam her home anything can change… Marcus semien started a lot of Houston about 3 weeks ago.and now.

  4. This is what the Astros needed after getting swept by the Yankees. The entire lineup was hitting in this series and even Maldonado and Abreu were hitting home runs. I don't know how you can score 39 runs in a 3-game series but now the Astros have done it. GG Rangers

  5. Altuve is death right now and despite missing time, I'm not sure he shouldn't get MP consideration. The Astros are leaving Seattle in the rear-view mirror and will walk away with the division title again. Quality always shows, and once again they are the AL West's daddy

  6. I know everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas, but zoom in on the over the pitcher camera angles like every other ballpark. It's nearly infuriating.

  7. The Astros need to focus like this when they are playing the weaker teams like the Yankees. When everyone is healthy this lineup is terrifying. 1st place and STILL missing 2 starting pitchers.

  8. Watching the matchup between Verlander and Scherzer was like waiting for a much-anticipated heavyweight boxing match, and then see the fight only go three rounds before one of them is laid out on the mat. 😆

  9. Thank you Rangers for the prospects we got for Max. Our future looks bright while Degrom and Max well, not so good.

  10. The Astros complete a three game sweep of the Rangers, on the road, their northern rivals, outscoring them 39 to 10. A GREAT DISPLAY OF DOMINANCE!!!

  11. "The Battle of Texas" between the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers. Was it being played last night?

  12. Mr. George to Rangers, "How much you pay for your pitchers ? Too much money, no good operators.

  13. Tough night for Max. Garcia's frustration coming out of the game exemplifies the feelings of Rangers fans, and I'm sure the team, better than anything at this moment. They have fallen off the precipice and are grasping for a rock to cling onto. Not sure what to think at this point. I don't want to believe it, but it almost feels like they are intentionally diving now. It feels very strange. I know that slumps happen, but the whole team at the same time?? Pitching and hitting? Regardless of it being intentional or not, they're definitely not ready to push for the playoffs. They need to look into this and figure out what went wrong, then make changes for next season. This is not a dig at the Astros either. They are playing well, and we are not. They came in and played like a team ready for play offs. We came and played like a team ready to take a nap on the couch with an ALDS game on the TV.

  14. My rangers will always be a poverty team…this is why I don’t visit their matches if they keep losing.

  15. After this DOMINANT sweep, Astros get a well deserved day off. Now let’s hope our offense stays like this in the series against San Diego

  16. 39 runs scored, which was 1 run less than the 2017 record, could have been easily eclipsed if it wasn't for Dusty's decision to play Maldonado in this game. He hit into 2 rally-killing double plays in which there were men on base on first and third with only 1 out. Ever heard of squeeze bunt or sacrifice fly Maldy? God!🙄 Also benching the hot-hitting Diaz for a second game in a row makes no sense to me. Thankfully, the rest of the Astros scored plenty of runs to overshadow this managerial gaffes Dusty made. So sweet to sweep the Rangers in their own back yard and stay in first place! GO STROS!!

  17. Rangers thought they were good and tried to be tough that one night in Houston. Astros just don’t care or get phased and reminded them and their fans that they’re the Rangers. A 0 World Series champ team who’s Houston’s little brother. Spent big money to be eliminated in September. I love it. Rangers are bad.

  18. Astros has the winning formula hire a bunch of Dominican stars throw in some fundamentally solid smart white guys and a couple strong versatile Cubans and Venezuelans there you go!😂

  19. This like watching your big brother beat the little brother over and over and over again. Come on Rangers do better geez 😒.

  20. Didn't expect this series outcome. I was expecting this kind of series with NYY but not the Rangers. Go Stros!!
