Some tidbits I found notable:
* Fitzy said Dawson Mercer pulled a “Jesper Bratt” at camp – “someone who comes to camp and you go ‘wow, we can’t send him down’”
* Fitzy identifies the pillars of the team as Jack, Nico, and Bratters. He used those three players as the basis of what team he was going to build around them. Expands to say that he sees Mercer and Holtz also becoming pillars moving forward.
* Fitzy wholeheartedly believes that Kevin Bahl can come in and give us the type of minutes Gravy gave us last season and the defensive work he did last season.
* And he thinks Luke Hughes can give the team the offense that Sevo provided.
* Fitzy confirms Vitek and Schmid are going to start the year together with a shared gameload.
