And I was underwhelmed because we got Suzuki instead of Valimaki who we were linked to.
If someone said at the time of the trade that Nick Suzuki would lead Montreal to a Western Conference finals victory over Pacioretty’s Vegas, people would think they’re nuts.
Good thing we got Suzuki instead of Glass
It’s unbelievable to me that biceps won all his trade excluding Drouin, some even being straight-up fleecings, yet assembling such mid teams in the process. Goes to show how shit the drafting was (outside of Sergachev lol)
Woke up early that morning and was shocked
We fleeced them
The 2019 second round pick was traded to LA for a 2019 third round and a 2019 fifth round pick, which turned into
* [Mattias Norlinder](https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=221345) (the 3rd round pick)
* [Jacob Leguerrier](https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=191302) (the 5th round pick)
A great day it was for the Habs.
