  1. Seems like their problems run beyond coaching. I look at their roster every year and they've looked like at least a wild card and then they just suck all the time. Feel bad for their fans.

  2. Judging by how they are playing I didn't know they had a coach.

  3. Long list of dead bodies of coaches and GMs are piling up in Buffalo…..but the only ones that need to be fired is the owners…… they need to stop making hockey decisions (which they have evidently no skill in doing given their horrible track record). As soon as they’ve entered, it’s been downhill from there

  4. If Buffalo allows all their UFAs to walk, they gain about 25 million in cap space. If they buy out Okposo, they pay 900K for two years but free up an additional 6 million in cap space.
Approx. 31 million bucks to resign their RFAs, with already a decent top four defense and a decent young goalie tandem in Ullmark/Johansson.

  5. Long Overdue! Is it all the coaches fault though? I'm not a fan of Buffalo, but it seems like it's a deeper issue… Hall and Eichel will most likely be gone soon, so that might sting unless who they get back can help right the ship…

  6. He should have been gone long ago. The guy can't match lines or put players in opportunities to score.

  7. Pegula is the perfect owner for the Sabres because of his wallet. He needs to stay out of the hockey operations

  8. Wasn't Krueger also the coach of the horrible Oilers despite having all those 1st overall picks and they sucked all those years? With all due respect, I don't think Krueger is an NHL level coach. That was a pretty dumb move by GM.

  9. its a blessing for Ralph he is not going to improve the performance on the ice They need a complete overhaul. Hes the fall guy but hes not the reason they are so bad. Its terrible that kind of line up is just not gelling and they are actually getting worse the problems all come from the top Ownership is probably a problem and it all goes down the line.

  10. How many times can U blame the coach.
Clearly there is a culture problem at the Buffalo Sabres hockey club, and or the players just simply don't have that motivation to play or simply don't want to do anything special.
I honestly think the players are the problem.
How can it not be a problem when lost of the team thinks that their Captain wants and best player wants to leave the team

  11. The rochester american, sabres farm team, has been very good for a number of years. When you look to change from the bottom up, at least the farm team is where it should be.

  12. I've been a Sabres fan since 1975, I keep saying, it's not the team, it's the city….very low energy.

  13. Maybe David Quinn can go over to Buffalo when NYR brings the staff up from Hartford for the long term 😂

  14. don't you think the issue is Mgt -the GM…. Without Eichel, pretty unlikely that they had enough quality players to win in the tough East division ??

  15. I told my girlfriend we can either have sex, or go see Star Wars.
She said "I'm on my period and Star Wars is sold out," but she pulled some strings and got me in.

  16. Eichel would look great in a wild uniform next season. Parise and auteurs contracts will lower in cap space. But they’ll still have to pay kaprizov first
