I was happy its Lowry but either him or Morrissey should have been Captain for years now not Wheeler.
Both players like being here compete hard,Lowry played SwiftCurrent WHL and Morrissey PrinceAlbert before Moose to Jets.
Hopefully both career jets
Id like to see Lowry later play with some of the young kids Mcgroarty,Barlow,Lucius/Lambert.
What made Adam Lowry the best choice for captain…Very simple every top player wants out of Winnipeg so no use naming them captain. Let’s be honest the Jets have given Lowry an NHL Career that no other team would give him. So get use to a Jets team in the future with a bunch of 4th line plugs. Didn’t Lowry go 32 games without scoring one goal ? Yes he did so that makes him Captain material at least on the Jets. Josh Morrissey should have been named captain but like i said everyone wants out. So I’m sure Morrissey will head to free agency too. Go Jets Go
