I’m pretty sure Soderstrom was a big time stock trader on the Swedish exchange too, so on road trips he’s be up crazy early in the morning to be putting in trades.
Forget who told that story about when he was roommates with Soderstrom on the road.

Flyers goalie in the early 90s. Memorable because he wore a college style full cage on an old school jofa helmet and looked super goofy

He was the #1 goalie during a previous down trodden time circa 91-92 and as previously stated, Dominic Roussel was the back up. Basically, Soderstrom was the placeholder guy between hextall’s first and second stint

During breaks, he would bend over and go back totally in the net and stay there.

Yea that’s Tommy Soderstrom
Oh man, the Bird Cage!
Between him and Roussel, the early 90’s are calling, haha
The card looks like he is receiving either his gold medal or a best goaltender award for winning the 1992 IIHF men’s world championship.
Pretty sure reading the card will grant you everything you are seeking. For everything, there is Google.
