Should I be excited?
He was actually signed by Laval Rocket to an AHL contract in July, but Ottawa still had his NHL rights. It was probably always going to happen, but it was really low on the priority list.
He was already invited to the rookies tournament iirc
I’m genuinely curious how Kent’s trade tendencies will change after he’s finished acquiring every single player he has worked with in his pre-GM days or whom his son has played with or against.

Big guy, skates well, good hockey sense, not lot of pucks skills but often in the right place at the right time.
Habs don’t have lot of young big guys like him.
