  1. Didn't Rielly have his worse numbers paired with Brodie last season? Brodie is owed 7.5M in actual money. Idk if any team would want to pay the money. Brodie has a M-NTC contract and it won't be easy to move him anyways. The leafs are stuck with him until next season when they let him walk. Brodie has proven he isn't the guy on the right-side in the playoffs. ZERO physical play, can't clear the front of the net, not the guy the leafs need against the Florida teams and Buffalo who is on the up swing. We all have are own ideas who knows what's right or wrong, time will tell.

  2. I think the media is broaded to death and make up these romours. I think its a dumb move to trade him because our d core would be even worst than what it is now.
    Great episode Andrew 🍻

  3. I was practically holding my breath all summer long hoping and praying that they wouldn't trade TJ Brodie. He has the ability to make a terrible defensive player look fairly sound in their own zone. He can play the left or right side. He can step up and eat some big minutes when needed or play on the 2nd or 3rd pair in a shut down roll. Fact of the matter is, the Leafs aren't half as good defensively without Brodie as they are with him. Let him play out his contract and if he still has some gas left in the tank, which i think he will, then you bring him back for a team friendly deal, maybe 1-2 years at 1-2 million per. By that time you bring in someone to push him down on the depth chart.
