What if feels like to be early
It the Leafs though, no matter who they have in their lineup, it is bound to fail.
I absolutely agree that since Tucker, Domi, Roberts etc., the team has been missing that mixed element of grit and secondary scoring on the wing. Bertuzzi and Domi are going to be instant fan favourites and will make an impact, come post season.
Am waiting to see Domi get going its about time hes a leaf now.

Wings fan… I miss Bert. Hope he has a great year. Domi has more passion to stay in Toronto, but they're both great pieces that are almost perfectly interchangeable.
Bertuzzi already has a handshake deal with the Leafs and I think that Tree will want Bert more than Domi I mean depends on how this year plays out but I think that Tree would want him to stay

Nylander won’t be on the team bro
I can see Domi, Bertuzzi, Samsonov, Nylander and Klingberg perform really well next season, even outperform most people expectations, the problem isn’t that.
The problem is how do you resign all of them if they do, arguably they are all already on a discount … with the example set forth by Matthews, i doubt any of them will accept to play on a discount again, except maybe Domi for stability’s sake.

Bert and Domi will be fun to watch with the Leafs, but their lack of defensive responsibility coupled with Toronto's garbage D and okay goaltending will amount to nothing.
Domi and Bert are amazing additions for the Leafs. As a Habs fan, i believe the Leafs can go far. Lightning getting older, Boston will not be as good, Florida got humbled in the finals. Pieces might be in place for a crazy Leafs season/playoffs.
I just hope the habs young guys have a good season and Habs vs Leafs will be insane i think. Arber Vs Ryan, Domi vs a team that traded him, new rivalries with all the young guys. I hope Leaf fans are equally as pumped as Habs fans for future games! Hope Habs can put up a decent fight!

As a londoner so hyped to see Domi nd Marner together again hope they get to play on the same line at least a couple times. Even just the last name the nostalgia is gonna be great won’t live up to his dads time here but think he’ll try harder here than anywhere else.
I'm big on both Bertuzzi and Domi with Leafs. As usual with T.B., health is all that will matter for his success

i'm a bruins fan and already miss Bert. he's gonna be a beast in blue and white now.
I think the biggest thing this fixes is the leftvwing in general. One of Torontos biggest issues up front was the lack if left wing stregnth. The ability to have domi, bertuzzi, knies, and robertson as left side options makes it stronger then it has been in a long time. Especially top 6 wise.

You can argue the leafs got worse than they were after the deadline but they are easily better than they were at the start of last season

Best way i can describe the additions by the leafs is they went with heart over analytics type players…sorta the same thing the 2015 jays did when they went on that crazy run all the way to the alcs
I agree. Domi has the elite skill from junior and never stopped playing great despite whichever team he was on. He could break out.

I’m wings fan and I’ll say Burt is really good but he gets injured a lot. If he could stay healthy he’d be making 7.5-8 million on a long term deal

Bertuzzi is good but let's just hope he can be healthy, not sure if getting a player who has not had one full season is a safe idea. Lets not forget he had 30 points last season so not sure why we expect so much. Id put Knies 1st LW , Domi 2nd, Bert, 3rd pair just to make sure he does not get hurt playing too many minutes.
As a Sens fan, I think that the Leafs got better over the summer. I actually like their top 6 a lot, but I wonder about their D and goaltending, although if they can keep the puck on offense most of the time, that will greatly help. I'm sure they'll have a great regular season, but as we all know, their playoffs will be the judge of them. At least the battle of Ontario will be more evenly mixed this year, can't wait! Cheers

I think Domi will be the 3rd line centre with Bertuzzi and Knies on the left wings for the first and second lines. Kampf, Lafferty and Reaves on the 4th line. Gambrell in a suit or on the Marlies
Regardless, Domi and Bertuzzi are either going to play with Matthews and Marner, or Tavares and Nylander. I think Domi and Bertuzzi will slot in perfectly on either of those lines.
As a leafs fan domi and Tyler Bert’ are such good player. I feel like that Bert should play with Mathews’s and marner
