Period 1 recap: 1-0 philly
Garand: he has been excellent only goal he let up was on the powerplay our best player.
Othmann: playing RW he was our best skater he’s had some good chances some decent passes nothing flashy but solid overall play.
Berard: also playing RW is pretty noticeable set up some decent chances
Sykora: he’s been ok he almost created a goal with his hard work
Henriksson: solid 200 ft play between sykora and Othmann but he’s mostly just a pivot
BMB: haven’t seen him on offense much but he made some good defensive plays.
Robertson: our best defenseman tonight playing a solid 200 ft game.
Rempe: had a big hit got in a fight and despite bleeding at the end of the fight he threw one punch the second punch of the fight and he won the fight. I just don’t think he was ready for a fight.
Period 2 recap: 2-2
Goal 1 Henriksson from Othmann and Robertson
Goal 2 Roobroeck from BMB and Rempe (not too sure about this)
Goal 1 was a fluky goal on the PP goal 2 was a cannon of a shot from Roobroeck
Garand: less busy but still good not a ton he could have done on the one goal
Othmann: solid play not too much really stood out.
Sykora: drew the penalty with his work along the boards
Henriksson: was making a pass across ice when it deflected into the net aggressive play caused the goal. The 1st line wasn’t as noticeable they were good just nothing really worth noting
Berard: our best player this period had some good chances very aggressive made plays on both sides of the ice. He could have done more on the goal against but it wasn’t his responsibility
Roobroeck: damn this kid has a cannon of a shot he had one in the first period too. Benefits of being 6’7
Rempe: super physical got pucks in the direction of the net
BMB: just seemed solid assuming it was him on the assist it was a great find to see Roobroeck coming on the ice at the end of his shift.
Robertson: had an interference penalty for defending the guy with the puck. Tbh I’m not too sure what happened but overall solid play
This period was much more in the Rangers favor than the first which was pretty back and forth where Philly had the slight edge.

Grerand has been great in the few minutes I’ve been watching.
Also that was a silly empty net goal
Period 3 recap: 4-2 NYR
Goal 3 Korczak from Berard and sykora
Goal 4 Emberson Empty net
Notes sykora joined korczak and Berard on the second line and that became our best line. Berard was our best player out there next to maybe Garand. Othmann and sykora were both good but nothing too flashy. Solid team performance philly is probably the more talented team
Love to see that performance from Garand. Hoping he can take a big step this year in Hartford.
