Please speculate below. Lou is still active so I feel like they’d wait for him to retire before inducting him. My guess is Lemaire
Timo, Dawson, Bratt, and NJ Devil bobbleheads, no Jack or Nico stuff, boo. No Law Enforcement Night apparently, my retired cop dad was always able to score me their discounted tickets in exchange for giving him the yearly challenge coin, guess that’s off.
I’ll be at Pride Night and at Asian American and Pacific Islander Night!
**Edit:** actually went through the entire list and I’m going to a lot of the theme night games actually, phew! will also be at Ring of Honor night, Timo bobblehead game, NJ Devil bobblehead game and Mercer bobblehead game…and the video game themed socks?
Got a few of these on my plan, though I admit I’m kind of over most theme night giveaways; ah well, at least being a teacher means I can just take stuff I don’t really need and use them as classroom decorations.
Still, some of these can be pretty fun, so it’s all good. Going to be interesting what the idea will be for the ring of honor; is it for non-players who’ve been important to the Devils (Cup winning coaches, Lou, Doc, etc.), or at least people who’ve been more important to the team after being players (Chico)? Or will it include players who don’t quite rise to the level of full jersey retirement but deserve a night in their honor (Sarge and many others)? Kind of feel like they could do a team hall of fame to make the latter work, but I guess we’ll see.
Might just need to figure out a way to get to video game day, though, especially if they have any Blades of Steel related shenanigans.
I hope they at least still do the artist designed T-shirts for the theme nights even w/o the warmups.
Those bobbleheads are the best. Cant wait for the Dawson Mercer one
