   I strongly disagree about giving Jenner a pass because he "was told to say something". Thats speculation first of all, but he is also the players freaking union rep. He shouldn't be carrying water for management because he is told to, he should be protecting the players he represents.

    I wouldn't mind if they traded away Joseph and Brannstrom. It would give Kleven an opportunity for a spot on the roster full time

    Chiarelli is a weasel who screwed the Sens out of Chara.

    He destroyed Edmonton. They should have won at least a couple of Cups by now. He traded the 15th and 32nd pick in 2015 for Griffin Reinhardt instead of drafting Chabot and somebody like Carloi. He traded Hall for Adam Larsson straight up. He gave Lucic an incredibly stupid contract. The list goes on.

    Chiarelli is an idiot. Don't let him into the building and shoot him on sight if he comes anywhere near the team. If they involve him in the organization it would be a disaster.

    More players should have Stuetzle's attitude. Its shows that winning is more important to them than extracting every last penny you can out of an organization. Winning requires players like this.

    It was an invasion of privacy, a potential means to get dirt to blackmail players, and was probably at the very minimum a test: will this player comply to whatever I ask of him?

    Knowing Babcock, how can a player reasonably say no? This man’s career rests in your hands. He’s done all sorts of underhanded things to sewer other peoples careers. If you say no, are you coloured as insubordinate and vulnerable to being demoted, under-utilized, verbally or emotionally abused?

    And worst of all, Babcock had, until now, plausible deniability that it’s only an innocent gesture of camaraderie. Without the media scrutiny from Biz— one of the few media personalities with a social license to push boundaries— players had no safe outlet to be heard. Only other guy is probably Rick westhead, but he tends to pick large scale investigations and documentaries.

    But until then, you have to go along with this bizarre mind game showing private info to someone you’ve never met who has a horrible rep but controls your ability to do your job, a job that thousands of people are competing for who would do just about anything to be in your shoes.

    Some really nasty stuff.

    I’ve been hearing a lot about Branny and Joseph, but could Dorion not look at Zub too? I wonder what the market is for him right now. Coming off an injury plagued campaign but from what I saw his possession stats were good.
