   Honestly I don’t think they are done circumventing the cap either. I have a theory that they are going to sign Patrick Kane to a 1yr contract like Bertuzzi and Domi place him on LTIR where he will be activated by November giving the Leafs more time to decide whether or not Nylander is worth sticking around or if they can get him down enough to a reasonable cap hit. I’m on the side of wait and see and if Nylander has a really great start to the season that would make him more valuable to trade
