To those who think the players should have been men enough to just say no: Those kids are 19-20 year olds trying to make a roster and possibly set themselves up for a multi-million-dollar career. They were in a position where they didn’t want to say no to Babcock, and Babcock knows that. That’s how he abused his power. He’s a piece of shit, and there are thousands and thousands of pieces of shit in every business, taking advantage of people who are desperate to move up in their line of work and don’t want to rock the boat.

Jenner met with Babcock very early. He and Johnny both. I do not believe that they made their statements knowing what happened to the younger guys. Babcock met much later with the young guys. Babcock knew better than to do to the veterans what he did to the young guys. I do not believe the vets knew what went on later with the younger players.
