Dispite the dislike of March and by a lot of people. I think he got the C for a number of reasons similar in certain respects to why bergy got it.

Marchand is a rat bastard, but he was a huge part of a gold metal for Canada… so he has that going for him.
I always liked Byron. He was a good little player when he first came up with Calgary, but I guess they couldn't afford to have two such small guys like him & Gaudreau at the same time, so they let Byron go. He showed what he could do when he got the chance to play regularly in Montreal.

I feel bad for those injured players missing a season or career ending injury because most of us probably forget that these players are in their twenties or thirties and they still have alot of life left to live and having a chronic illness isn't great I just hope they are still able to get a good quality of life after hockey
