[Novozinsky] Re : Le contrat de Lindy Ruff. On m’a dit que Ruff avait encore une « année d’option » sur son contrat (c’est pourquoi il est entraîneur maintenant), mais lui et le directeur général des Devils, Tom Fitzgerald, travaillent actuellement sur un contrat plus long.

I’m told Ruff had an “option year” still left on his deal (which is why he’s coaching now) but he and #NJDevils GM Tom Fitzgerald are working out a longer deal currently.

Well that explains a lot. It was getting very strange that we hadn’t heard about an extension yet he was clearly still on the job lol.
It’s so weird how guarded the NHL is with this type of information.
