Comparaison du nouveau maillot des Canucks à celui de la saison dernière

D’accord, je voulais faire une comparaison côte à côte des deux maintenant que j’ai le nouveau. 1. As a big fan of the 70s NHL and in that context a "fan" of all NHL teams (not just my Islanders). As such, I was a fan of the Canucks, I loved their original jerseys, I loved that they wore the blue jerseys on the road (at the Nassau Coliseum) and white at the Pacific Coliseum, and I loved the "stick in rink" logo. Obviously I'm rooting for the original jersey to be their #1 jersey. The orca is hideous. I hope all that was clear!

  2. Honestly I think I still prefer the old one, but I have warmed up to the new one much more after watching this.

  3. Original is best skate is good even the V beats out the corporate orca. If they wanted a whale then just change the name of the team to whales. The 50 is just boring and plain.

  4. I was able to pick up the white version of the new jersey, I like how the new shoulder patch looks on it.

  5. Pretty much ALL art is influenced by other art. The real question is why so many think it is so imperative to own a jersey in the first place. I'm a huge 'Nucks fan. I just don't see why I should dump a pile of money on a jersey.

  6. I love the fact the logo is giant and the 50th anniversary patch. I'm still not a huge fan of the whale logo, but over the years it has gone from I dislike it quite a bit to it's ok I guess. I like Johnny Canuck logo better than the current one and is saying a lot.

  7. He goes to the Concession Stand for a Hot Dog and a Soda and comes back with a New Jersey, wearing it so that the Mrs won't notice… Now that takes guts! No Brains, but a lot of guts!

  8. Im a Flames fan but I LOVE the look of the Orca with no word mark. FINALLY. That is a rock solid look for the Canucks.

  9. So question Shannon… I am buying my first Canucks jersey from BenHSports. Black skate 50 anniversary. Who should I get on the back? I am not a Canucks fan and I just want it for the collection… who do you see as the guy for this team?

  10. The new home and away jerseys have nothing inside the collar, however, the new third does say WE ARE ALL CANUCKS.

  11. Does Killer Whale not sound cooler than a Orca?… I just can’t help but think when I look at a Canucks jersey, I’m always thinking that’s a sweet Killer Whale. So… I just happen to think it should be referred to as such. Yes, no, maybe? I’m not even a Canucks fan, albeit I am a fan of a team from the class of 1970. Love your channel THG…

  12. I bought the fanatics version of they new Pettersson jersey… Sadly it doesn't have the 50th patch

  13. I don’t like the orca logo on the home jersey. A black and white logo on a blue green jersey looks bad. They need a primary logo that has blue and green in it to go with the jersey colours.

  14. A couple weeks ago I bought the new stick and rink alternate with horvat on the back for $200. It was a site wide sale on sportchek and they had many other jerseys

  15. I still have questions about these new looks.
Why is there no green incorporated into the orca logo?
Why didn’t they attempt something with green, which could be made to include the tertiary Johnny Canuck logo, and done a year before the Seattle team’s probable green with blue colours, to avoid being labeled as copycats.
Why didn’t they celebrate the skate logo using the more iconic home white jersey? Surely they couldn’t have been unaware of how the white jersey was both more popular and more highly regarded.

I like the white on white secondary logo. There’s something bold about it.

As an aside, when did the Orca Bay corp brand itself like that? Because I’m thinking that much like the True North corp grown in Winnipeg, the Orca Bay brand may have come from early logo designs rather than the other way around as many of the haters purport.

  16. The shoulder patch should have remained the same on the white road jersey 2018 – 19(white stick in the blue rink) to match the original home white jersey "stick in the rink".

  17. Hi! Do you have any more information about the "stolen orca" story (3:00)?

  18. Cheap and lousy branding by one of the worst ownerships in pro sports. It was a no-brainer to go back to the classic 1970 Stick in Rink. Add the skating Johnny Canuck on the shoulders and add a green alternate featuring Johnny Canuck. The corporate Orca has long overstayed its welcome.
    Canucks. Not Orcas.

  19. Love your videos and your collection Shannon! From a Canucks fan in Chilliwack. I can’t wait to get a 50th anniversary jersey. On a different topic I hope you talk about James Neal in your next video. He has a hat trick so far tonight. Almost has his goal total from last year already 😆.

  20. The collar on both look horrible. The white stripe should go all the way around the collar. It looks lazy and incomplete the way the white stripe on the collar abruptly stops.

  21. Hi, thanks for the video. I am interesting in getting the Buffalo Sabers 50 year anniversary white-gold jersey. Do you know where to get one?

  22. She didn't notice. I love this!!! It's for all the times a woman critiques you for not noticing the most subtle detail about her.
