Please tell me I’m not going crazy. That was the most staged fight I’ve ever seen. It was straight from Goon.
They tussle a bit and get matching minors. Then right out of the box the camera zooms in for the boxing match. The broadcast crew even called the fight blow by blow!
It’s an exhibition. These guys don’t even know each other, let alone have beef. The broadcast crew never acknowledges the fight.
This is such a blatent attempt to make hockey look violent enough to appeal to Australians.
Don’t get me wrong, I wish more people could appreciate the skill of professional hockey, I just wish it wasn’t necessary to beat them over the head with it.
Also, shouldn’t LA have scored by now?
